Beyond Lip Service: Co-producing Knowledge and Action with Marginal Urban Communities under Climate Change
25 February 2026 | 11:30–13:00 Bangkok time (GMT+7) / 04:30–06:00 London time (GMT)

In parallel with the UNESCAP Asia-Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development 2026, NatCen and its partners will host a flagship event showcasing innovative, community-led approaches from Asian cities to address climate change, health risks and urban inequality. The event brings together Asian city case studies to examine how community-led knowledge and action can address the intersecting challenges of climate change and urban inequality.

Featuring case studies from Thailand, Hong Kong (China), Pakistan, and Vietnam, the session highlights the experiences of informal and precarious workers, sharing practical lessons on protecting livelihoods, health, and rights.

Engage in interactive discussions with governments, academia, and civil society to explore partnerships and solutions advancing SDGs 11 and 17 for just, climate-resilient cities.

Be part of the conversation shaping the future of Asia-Pacific cities.
