Gwanak Association Special Scholarship

Scholarships provided by the Special Scholarship Association of the GSPH shall be selected by the Scholarship Committee in consideration of academic performance and income levels

 

Customized Scholarship

Scholarships paid by colleges (in-school scholarship budget) shall be selected by the scholarship committee in consideration of academic performance and income levels

 

GSPH Development Fund Scholarship

The GSPH Foundation provides a scholarship to students in consideration academic performance and income levels and those with recommendations by advisor.

Health Research Foundation Scholarship

The scholarship is provided to full-time PhD students by the Health Research Foundation to support research and education in the public health sector.

 

Seoul National University Development Fund Scholarship

There are headquarters scholarships and university scholarships, and recipients are selected by the scholarship committee in consideration of academic performance and income.

Work-Study Scholarships

A scholarship paid to graduate students or graduate researchers, and one student may be recommended per professor. Ph.D. students recommended by their advisor and with a score average of 3.3 or higher in the previous semester will be given priority.(New students are excluded from the performance standard, and those with earned income of 27 million Won or more per year are excluded.). Scholarship students are in charge of lectures and research assistance by professors, guidance and assignment processing of students, and administrative work assistance related to laboratories.

  • Support: Tuition fee and monthly amount

Work-Study Scholarship

Recipients are required to work as an assistant at various institutions on campus, such as reading rooms, computer rooms, a laboratory, or in the student union.However, providing work-study scholarship to one student for 3 semesters or higher is prohibited.

  • Type 1. 40 hours/month, 10hrs/week
  • Type 2. 60 hours/month, 15hrs/week
  • Type 3. 80 hours/month, 20hrs/week

[海元 Future Health Scholars Training Fund] Award for Outstanding Research Papers

In order to actively support the research activities of Ph.D. students of the Graduate School of Health, one of the Ph.D. students (including graduates) who published (confirmed) papers in SCI/SSCI-level journals within the top 10% of each field is selected and paid academic incentives every semester.

 

Park Myeongyun-Lee Haengja Special Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to students who receive the highest score for their presentation of their thesis proposal (2 master’s students, 1 PhD student)

 

Cheongbong Park Daegeun Special Scholarship

In accordance with the wishes of the donator, this scholarship is awarded to those who have a firm intention to work for international health and who are majoring or interested in preventive medicine or international health and have an intention to work for international health and medicine. Eligibility is restricted to students currently enrolled graduate students, who, at the time of the provision of the scholarship, must register for at least one semester to complete the course work and whose grade point average (GPA) for the immediately preceding semester was 3.3 or above.

 

SNU President Fellowship(SPF) in Developing Countries

The scholarship is for a faculty member of a major university in a developing country without a Ph.D. degree. Students who applied to SNU ph.D. program can appply for SPF during admission period for international students. The scholarship provides coverage for both tuition fee and living expenses.

 

SNU Global Scholarship(GS)

Foreign graduate degree students of this school are selected every semester.

– Global Scholarship I: Tuition, living expenses, airfare
– Global Scholarship II: Tuition Fees
– Korean language training: Korean language course (special course night class) tuition fees at the Language Education Center

 

Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students(GSFS)

One student is selected once a year for foreign graduate students of this school. Both master’s and PhD students will be paid two years (4 semesters) tuition and living expenses (1 year for master’s and 2 years for doctorate).

 

SNU Global EDGE Fellowship Program

Among the new foreign Ph.D. students of this school, graduate students participating in the fourth stage of the BK21 project will be selected and tuition and living expenses will be paid for up to two years.

The Grand Prize Scholarship Foundation Scholarship to Foster the Next Generation of Demographic Studies

The Grand Prize Scholarship Foundation selects and awards one of the students who enter the master’s or PhD program in demography every year.

-Application contents: Master’s course (full tuition for 4 semesters), Ph.D. course (full tuition for the 6 semesters)

 

DOBU Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded at the GSPH at Seoul National University upon the recommendation of the committee from among those who have a certain qualification in the Dept. of Environmental Health

 

3M Korea Scholarship

The scholarship is awarded to students majoring in industrial health at the GSPH at Seoul National University upon the recommendation of their advisor.
