(December 7-9, 2026), CUHK hosts APRU Global Health Conference 2026 in Hong Kong

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) will proudly host the 19th APRU Global Health Conference 2026 from December 7 to 9, 2026 in Hong Kong.
Under the theme “Resilience and Adaptation: Navigating the Evolving Landscape of Global Health in a Changing World”, this flagship annual event will bring together global health leaders from academia, industry, and government to explore how health systems can adapt and remain resilient amid an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase and exchange innovative research, share community-driven practices that strengthen adaptive capacity to emerging health threats, and foster cross-sectoral and interdisciplinary collaborations essential for developing proactive and sustainable solutions across the Pacific Rim.
The Conference will also support student development through competitions, interactive learning opportunities, and networking activities designed to inspire the next generation of global health leaders.
We look forward to welcoming you to vibrant Hong Kong for an inspiring exchange of ideas and collective action towards a healthier and more resilient future.
Call for Abstracts
Deadline: Extended to August 15, 2026
Your faculty members, researchers and students are invited to submit abstracts for Oral or Poster Presentations, aligned with the Conference theme “Resilience and Adaptation: Navigating the Evolving Landscape of Global Health in a Changing World” and under the following six sub-themes:

The winner in each category will receive a cash award of USD 500, sponsored by Elsevier. For detailed submission requirements, please click the button below.

The Conference will be organized by the Jockey Club School of Public Health and Primary Care (JCSPHPC) of CUHK, which is dedicated to promoting regional and global exchange and collaboration in pursuit of a healthier and more resilient future.
The 3-day Conference welcomes scholars, students, and professionals across the region and beyond to engage in keynote sessions, panel discussions, and interactive workshops that inspire collaboration and drive real-world impact.
Registration Fees:
*The LLMICs rate is determined by the participant’s country of residence. Please refer to the guidelines of the OECD for the classification.
